This is one of the funniest movies of the last Decade. Russell Crowe and Ryan Gosling make this movie amazingly funny. Excellent Character Development. They also carry off what the 1970s were like in Los Angeles a lot too. I lived in Los Angeles for part of the 1970s in Pasadena and also I grew up in Glendale from 1956 to 1969 when I was 21 and moved first to Venice, California on the beach and then to San Diego County to return to college there.
I highly recommend this movie especially for people who actually lived through the 1970s in Los Angeles or here in California.
