There are many kinds of mystics, Christian, Sufi, Hindu, Tibetan Buddhist and others.
But, the one thing they seem to have in common is that:
That God is where you find him?
Or possibly in the case of Buddhism, Buddha is where you find him, her the Being.
However, I tend to be a Christian Mystic and a Tibetan Buddhist Mystic so I believe in God like 25% of all Buddhists also do.
The basic premise of being a mystic is sort of like I said: "God (or Buddha) is where you find him, her, the being."
An East Indian Saying about this would be: "If an Ant is your Guru Feed him."
So, as you move through this life you expect God to be everywhere and when God shows himself or herself or itself to you in any form you worship God in that form by rejoicing in that moment.
You don't have to scream and dance around and laugh like a crazy person but you might stare at how God is manifesting to you in a Sunset or Yosemite Valley or Mt. Shasta as the sunsets upon it and it turns pink and then Gold often when there aren't many clouds in the sky. Or when you see a beautiful person or animal or bird you rejoice that God has found you again in that moment.
God can manifest as anything including yourselves or a member of your family or friends or everyone at once that you know.
So, be open to God manifesting to you with a constant state of wonder and amazement about life as God finds you again, again and again.
By God's Grace
