As you get older the Generation gap widens

For example, a California or Hawaii type of White person (especially males) from the 1970s through the 1990s were wearing the colorful Hawaiian Shirts a lot if they lived usually near the Pacific Ocean somewhere on the Islands or along the coast of California.

It was sort of saying to people "I'm a beach person and I surf now or used to surf and I like Hawaiian shirts and maybe I Scuba dive and snorkel too. I like Water sports and I might even ski in the wintertime in the mountains!"

However, it appears a lot of this has changed somewhat. For example, I found I was much more comfortable wearing baggy Hawaiian swim shorts while there in Hawaii along with a Hawaiian colorful shirt.

However, then I took a plane back to the mainland dressed like this only now I'm 77 1/2 years old so maybe people don't understand what your life has ALWAYs been like since the 1950s and 1960s?

I don't know but people have changed a lot. So, I realized after coming home to San Francisco Dressed like this that maybe next time I won't wear the colorful Hawaiian Shirt while I also wearing a baggy bathing suit with Hawaiian colorful patterns too and wearing Crocs.

The world has maybe changed too much for this anymore.

However, then I was in 1st class with my wife on the plane simply because I don't want someone to break both my kneecaps off in coach.

Note: By the way the two musicians we were traveling with a couple who perform together the lady is pretty tall and has long thighs and is a very strong person physically and very physically active even though she is presently 59 years old.

However, because of her long thighs on one of the flights someone came back with their seat suddenly  and hurt her really badly in both knees and so she screamed in pain which freaked out all the passengers around her especially the lady who did this to her.

This is why I don't ride in coach anymore because I'm 6 foot 5 inches tall because when someone goes back suddenly you can lose both kneecaps pretty easily when you are as tall as me because there is nowhere to go when someone comes back fast enough and then you are seriously injured wherever you are traveling to on earth.

end note:

So, since I could afford to I usually fly either 1st Class or Business Class depending what is available and if I can I fly bulkhead or bulkhead behind us (so at least I feel comfortable going back in my seat because no one is behind me except a bulkhead.
