My wife got some pictures of the Sunset just before we took our dog for a walk along the ocean yesterday. It gets dark here about an hour before it did in Hawaii now here in California which we are still getting used to.
However, it's also true that the shortest day of the year this far north is December 21st 2025 so the days will start to get longer again which will be nice.
The rains here have done their damage last weekend and my wife went into Her Bank here which had been completely flooded out so there were fans going everywhere to try to dry out the floor of the bank so there wouldn't be problems from water everywhere across the banks floor. I don't remember anything exactly like this happening before in Santa Barbara.
It likely has to do with it being warmer so more water can be in the air than before worldwide why so much damage is everywhere worldwide from flooding now.
It just seems to get sporadically worse and worse (the flooding now) everywhere on earth where it still rains.
Some places get no rain at all which is also different than before.
Anyway, it was wonderful to see this beautiful sunset after all the rain.
