Obviously, being the greedy thing that he is he wants Venezuelan Oil which is the main reason he wants regime change. He thinks that since so many Venezuelans and Columbians are upset with Maduro that he can create a regime change.
However, because the Drug Cartels are in cahoots with Maduro I think this is a bad idea for Trump simply because Drug Cartels have an infinite amount of money (realistically) to hire really good assassins to get Trump. So, even though Trump is suffering a lot mentally and physically now because of his age I think he is committing literally suicide personally and maybe for the entire U.S. to try to create regime change for Venezuela and to try and make it one of the U.S. possessions.
I think the likely outcome is Trump's assassination by Drug Cartels and thousands of Americans and Venezuelans and mercenaries will die if he continues down this path and nothing else much.
So, I see Trump in Venezuela with our military as suicidal not only for him but also for our nation possibly too.
I don't think Trump is as bad off mental health wise as Biden was but he's pretty darn close to where Biden was and will be if he isn't already by Christmas 2025 the way he is presently going.
