Go to college and learn Critical thinking. A friend of mine who got his Master's Degree from UCLA in the 1960s said to me: "You learned Critical thinking in College. However, many young people never learn this.
I think Critical thinking is learned the easiest when you have some really awful experiences in life where you almost die. Either you die or you begin to take life more seriously after that.
For me, personally it was whooping cough at 2 then a concussion at 9 then leaving my childhood religion (the church) at age 21 then my first marriage ending when I was 29. However, the good part of this is my 1st wife gave me custody of our son which was a really good thing for me and has helped me throughout my life.
However, unless young people learn Critical Thinking soon enough they are either dead or so messed up in life from bad choices that their lives NEVER RECOVER.
Learning Critical Thinking and learning to make much better decisions is often the difference between life and death at every point in life and it also affects whatever children you have and your wives and lovers too along the way.
Don't get me wrong. My life wasn't perfect either.
However, Critical thinking saved my life, my children's lives, my wive's lives and my friends and relatives lives all along the way during my life.
So, learning Critical Thinking could save not only your life but the lives of everyone on earth.
