Just remember all computer logarithms have to be in Base two or Binary to work

We use in our every day life a base 10 system (zero through 10). However, all computers have only two states (an on switch or an off switch) that's all.

So, you need to have every Logarithmic function within this Base two system (binary) or it won't work at all. So, it must have been quite awkward at first for mathemeticians and programmers to convert all logarithms to base two (binary).
