Overwhelm

 I was thinking back at the times where it seemed everyone was overwhelmed. I think the first time I really saw our whole nation overwhelmed was likely the Kennedy assassination and then Martin Luther King and Bobby Kennedy too. The people didn't really trust our government ever again after all that.

The next time was a lot too which was the entire Viet Nam War because no one really knew at the time why we were there or why people my age were being drafted and sent off to die. Why were we really there? No one could ever tell me a useful reason for this and my whole generation (especially college students complained about all their friends from high school getting drafted and dying over there in that totally confusing war that we then lost.

The next time the country was experiencing overwhelm was when Richard Nixon resigned because Barry Goldwater told him he had to and if he hadn't resigned he would have been impeached.

The next time the country was in overwhelm was 9-11 because on September 11th 2001 the world trade Centers collapsed and killed 2000 or 3000 people and no planes were allowed to fly except military planes for a long time or they would be shot down. So, for a couple of days if you were a commercial airline or private plane you would be shot down if you flew. So, during those two days if you wanted to fly to America from anywhere on earth you couldn't. So, you would have to fly to Canada or Mexico and rent a car or take a train to get anywhere for around 2 days I think until the 13 of September 2001.

Then the next time we went into overwhelm was when Trump was elected the first time then he killed all sorts of people by lying about Covid even though he got a Covid Shot himself and almost died of it himself.

The next time the whole World this time went into overwhelm was when Trump was elected again and many Americans like myself thought: "WTF. We are done for as a democratic nation now!"

So, this country has been in overwhelm along with the whole world since Trump got in this last time.

What happens next?

Not Sure. But I just found out that 44% of the money that elected Trump came from Crypto which is only really good for Gambling and Criminal Activity. So, that says a lot about how crazy an Overwhelm we all are now in very similar to the 1850s when the Civil War started in 1860.
