It's possible since no president ever has had polling as low as Trump in history that Republicans might be swept out of office in droves nationwide in the fall elections. However, we have to see just how corrupt some of the red states have gotten regarding redistricting and taking us back closer to Civil War once again. If you study the 1850s you will see many similarities now with then just before the Civil War broke out.
