It's possible because the currents in both the Atlantic Ocean and Pacific Ocean especially near California and San Francisco are drastically changing. Around San Francisco especially and all over California on the ocean the upwelling of bringing nutritious waters from deep in the ocean have basically stopped and this has caused the surface water to heat up dramatically. Also, the currents that keep Europe as warm as it is and New England as warm as it is is having problems too. So, you might see a small "ice age" because of this in New England and Europe because of these changing ocean currents. ON top of this the melting of the Doomsday Glacier in Antarctica is changing sea levels more quickly than people believed could happen in the 20th Century too.
So, Could a "Younger Dryas" event happen this century. Yes. There is a possibility of something like this. However, I wouldn't hold your breath either because I'm not sure exactly how probable something like this could actually take place.
However, one thing I can likely say is that Tornadoes and Hurricanes are going to get much much worse this Century because of the heating of the oceans. This is likely true whether another Younger Dryas event happens or not this century.
