In a Trade War like Trump is having with Canada everyone loses. there are no winners but Trump through kickbacks from Tariffs

 Except maybe Trump and his family who might be getting kickbacks from the Tariffs which would not surprise me in the least.

And possibly this was true of Herbert Hoover too.

However, it's hard to imagine someone this selfish (unless they were a drug Lord or Drug Dealer) thinking like this who doesn't care if people live or die from their actions.

So, a tariff on Canada or China or Europe is not useful to the world economy at all and ONLY benefits people like Trump getting kickbacks of money in various ways for doing this.

After all, Herbert Hoover's tariffs (Hoover loved Tariffs too like TrumP) Caused the Great Depression and eventually even World war II. So, basically Hoover's tariffs collapsed the STock market in 1929 and we didn't fully recover from all of this mess of the Great Depression and world war II and 100 million people dead during that war until the 1950s when the U.S. was the ONLY large power on earth still standing that hadn't been attacked by someone else on our shores really at all. I mean I think a torpedo came ashore in California from Japan during the war and Pearl Harbor was attacked but I think that was about it.

So, the only country that was large that survived World War II at all intact was the United States which is why we have sort of been the single superpower ever since until Trump who has blown away all the good that came to America worldwide since World War II.

So, the Trade War by Trump is likely for the kickbacks his family is getting from the tariffs ONLY.

there is no real reason for Tariffs at this point at all other than to destroy the whole world economy and to take us into another Great Depression and another World War II only now it would be World War III which might be starting in Ukraine and Iran right now.
