Though the lines were too long on the Space Needle so my parents wouldn't let me go on it I did go to the Seattle World's Fair that Summer of 1962. This was the year before JFK (Kennedy) was assassinated but that fall was also the the Cuban Missile Crisis.
We also went to the Tetons and rode Horseback up to Spirit Lake above Jenny Lake
