High Winds on big Island of Hawaii during Hurricane Lala

Mauna Kea Summit at 13,806 feet 140 mile an hour winds

Hawaii, Hawaii County 91 miles per hour winds 1751 feet in elevation

Olowahu 85 miles per hour (on Kona side of Island) height 546 feet in elevation

Helco ala hahua Dr. 84 miles per hour winds at 533 feet elevation

Kohala Ranch 84 mile per hour winds at 1,326 feet elevation

I was looking at Highway 11 on the big island and the whole road is gone in one place which looks many feet deep and for a long ways there is no road at all. However, it is possible to create a dirt or rock go around within the next week but it will be months now before Highway 11 will be repaired because of the extent of the damage to the roadbed.

All Airports and harbors across the Hawaiian Islands are now open again.

All Harbors on the Hawaiian islands were closed completely during the Hurricane by the Coast Guard
