This is really great to actually see the sun today. It says it's around 64 degrees so that is nice too. We have been wanting some sun since we returned from Santa Barbara last Sunday here on the Northern California coast. Though it's nice to not have temperatures much above 70 or even to 80 at all it's also nice to see the sun once in awhile.
However, after going to Santa Barbara and the Air conditioning not working properly with temperatures in the house 80 to 83 degrees most of the day it has been nice to return to a place that is usually 70 degrees or under inside where NO air conditioning is necessary basically almost ever during any year. We have lived here since 1999 in this house and have never really needed an air conditioner during this time so far at least.
However, the tourists are still coming to the Northern California coast to get away from the 100 plus degree weather inland.
But even in Mt. Shasta the temperatures are nice now at a high of 75 today with a low of 51 degrees Fahrenheit.
Sacramento 80 high today
88 for Fresno
90 for Bakersfield
86 for Redding
81 for Santa Nella
99 for Palm Springs but it will go up to 110 by Tuesday and Wednesday
103 in Death Valley but up to 111 by Wednesday and Thursday
65 high in San Francisco and pretty much this high all week long.
