For example, I had to have my back left lower molar removed now at age 78 because at a certain point your teeth cannot be root canaled as you age past a certain point. So, the only useful solution is to have them pulled before you die of an infection in one of them. People die all over the world from not dealing with infections from teeth that need to be pulled by the way. It sounds silly I know but this happens all the time when people don't address teeth infections soon enough. They die. Even Lucy the ancient ape in history through anthropology died from a tooth infection which is why we have her bones now somewhere.
So, then you have another problem having pulled your infected tooth. The teeth directly above (or below) this tooth will fall out within 2 or 3 years if you don't get an implant or get something there like a bridge to support these teeth staying alive.
So, I suppose you could get a bridge or dental plates too to keep these teeth still alive too.
But, the longest term thing you could do is to get Dental implants which I have done on two teeth already now at age 78.
Yes. It is very expensive to do this but the old adage of "Your Teeth and your Feet are the most important things to get you to old age" is actually true (unless you just want to drink your food through a straw the rest of your life and never chew anymore anything.
So, it is a choice not to die of an infected tooth or teeth and it is a choice if you want to stay alive ongoing at any stage of life.
So, Good Luck out there with all of this.
By God's Grace
