Lama Geshe Lobsang Gyatso who was born in Kham in the early 1930s around the same age then as the Dalai Lama is now said, "It is like being on a stage and then opening the curtain where you see the reality of your own enlightenment instantly."
Everyone is trying to tell you how to do everything when in reality you are already enlightened. You just have to accept it.
It's a lot like a surfer and a wave. You can just let people tell you how to surf forever or you can one day go out and actually surf a wave.
It is not thinking it is doing.
Or like Yoda says "There is no try there is only DO"
So, the question becomes "Can you do what Yoda is teaching here?"
It's like choosing to drive a car. If you can do this safely then why shouldn't you drive a car if you can?
But, there are also things like Driver's tests and driver's licenses too in the real world.
However, maybe it's more important to get out there and just surf that wave.
