It means that if you are inside anywhere that droplets from speaking, or sneezing or possibly even breathing can travel 10 to 15 feet through the air and infect people. The distance in some situations might be further than that.
However, if you are outside sunlight tends to kill the coronavirus so this is less true outside.
However, when it gets to be the rainy or snowy season in the fall infections are likely to increase exponentially like they did during the Spanish Flu outbreak in 1918.
We really don't know how bad it might get yet from September 2020 to May 2021 in the Northern Hemisphere yet worldwide.
