Trump liked the idea of Blue State people dying in New York and California and dumped the plan.
But, now it has all backfired on Trump completely because red state people are dying at a higher rate than Blue State people ever did.
By the way if you are reading this overseas in another country a Blue state is a Democratic party controlled state and a Red State is a Republican party controlled state.
