Osama Bin Babies

I was listening on CNN TV to a commentator talk about how the Far Right is getting paranoid that terrorist mothers will fly into the U.S. just to have their "terrorist" babies be U.S. citizens and maybe then raise them in Yemen or something with dual citizenship.

Yesterday, most people were talking about the normal kind of Mexican or Central American mother who jumps across the border (any way she can) to have an (American baby with U.S. citizenship). Even though this also happens a lot I mentioned in my last article that trying to change the Constitution with and Amendment I don't really think is useful or practical.

Far Right wants review of birthright citizenship

Please click on "Far Right" above if you want to read this too.

So, even though I suppose it could happen or has already happened many times since the 1970s that "terrorist Moms" have already given birth in the U.S. only to return to a Muslim Country to train their kids to fight the Western Christian Secular world as adults, I don't think it is practical to take away the right of becoming an American Citizen by being born here. What about the rest of us who actually had parents who were also born and grew up here and lived here as well. I don't see how we can take away the right of citizenship by birth from one group without taking away eventually citizenship by birth for all groups.

Therefore, it becomes a slippery slope and no one can become a citizen unless he or she is worth 1 million dollars or something. Though one wants to protect America and the free world I don't think this is a practical way to do it.
