The major places where jobs have disappeared is in the Western World. Why is That?
There are three major causes to this.
1. The first cause is overpopulation of the world in general. This creates incredible competition for the have nots to work (at any price per hour) in order to just survive another day. What that does is to take good paying jobs from the western world and give them to starving people in other places in the world.
2. Tied directly into this is Globalization which has sprung from the Internet being a source of revenue to all or most businesses on earth. Through globalization through the Internet people literally anywhere on earth now can sell something cheaper than it can be made in any western nation. Every time this happens someone in the western world loses a job.
3. The third cause is Global Climate Change and global Warming. Whether this is caused by humans, the weakening of the magnetosphere because of a Geomagnetic Excursion or Polar shift and a natural part of the cycle of life and death on earth remains to be fully proved. Or it likely could be caused by a multiplicity of factors as yet unknown as well. However, any way you look at it the temperatures of earth are increasing and the ice is melting and the glaciers all over earth are disappearing whether that is just a normal cycle for earth or whether it is caused by mankind might be debatable.
But the fact that it is happening is not debatable!
So, the question remains, "How does mankind (and the rest of life survive this?" Basically, the answer likely will be, "Anyway it can!"
As a result of this, systems of governance that we have grown used to might become unworkable or obsolete during these times.
Adaptability might be the single most important quality among the people who actually survive this over the next several hundred years here on earth.
