One of the funniest books I ever read to my kids while we were home schooling them was "Hitchiker's Guide to the Galaxy". We all just laughed and laughed together as I read it to them. At that point the oldest was about 9 or 10 years old and the youngest about 6. Later on, the BBC made I think a 9 part version of it acted out that eventually appeared on PBS in the U.S. Finally, in 2005 a movie by the same name came out also starring Martin Freeman, Mos Def, Sam Rockwell, and Zooey Deschanel. So, the easiest one to probably find if you haven't seen it yet is the 2005 movie.

I read the book to my kids in the early 1980s and later saw the BBC version with them also. And in 2005 when it came out in a movie form saw that one too. Today I was channel surfing and found it again on Cable TV. What Fun!
