Though we are definitely related to Apes from here on earth there are other aspects of Human DNA that did not come from this planet. Geneticists likely in their training are steered around this fact that there are some things in Human DNA that obviously didn't originate on Earth.
The biggest one is speech. Why is it that humans are the only type of creature on earth that talks?
Others might make noises including Whales and Dolphins and Crows etc. but why are we the only thing on earth that can talk. Apes cannot talk. They have intelligence. They can use sign language but they cannot speak or create a non-signing language. However, they can use tools like us.
So, obviously this came from somewhere else but earth. Otherwise there would be a history of other creatures that talk and that can make up languages. Where are they? That's right. They don't exist. Therefore the DNA capacity to speak came from somewhere else than Earth. So, the likelihood is that we are a cross breed between apes and aliens at some point. Or we are genetically engineered from alien humanoid blood and Earth Ape blood in order to make us stronger and more efficient at living in this Earth environment.
