Because of all the interest in this subject lately I thought I might make it easier for readers around the world to learn more about this potential problem we may be in the middle of. Though the Laschamp Geomagnetic excursion happened 41,000 years B.P.E. it appears to be something cyclical that happens here on earth. If you imagine earth as a geomagnetic dynamo (which it actually is), it appears that planets magnetic fields go through changes over the millenia. For example, during a Geomagnetic excursion the magnetic field (magnetosphere) weakens to around 10% of normal, and many species die out (go extinct) because they cannot survive the cosmic rays and other problems coming down onto the surface of earth. It makes them no able to breed genetically. It could be one of the factors in why people now in many parts of earth are unable to have children as well even though scientifically many species cannot reproduce when there are too many of them in any one locality which seems to be nature's way of limiting reproduction in many species.

Evidence that we are in the beginning of another 1000 or 2000 year Geomagnetic excursion is that the Magnetic North of Earth began moving faster and faster towards Siberia from Canada starting around 1900. It presently is moving 40 miles per year which is one of the reasons GPS satellites were needed in the first place because magnetic North wasn't working for planes anymore because it was moving too fast by the 1950s and 1960s not to be a problem for navigation worldwide especially by planes and ships. So, the likelihood we are in another geomagnetic excursion could be one of the reasons that so many species are going extinct since the beginning of the 20th century. Another thing Geomagnetic excursions bring is extreme weather changes and Ice ages. Also, there is somewhere between a 1 and 10 and a 1 in 20 chance that this is not only a geomagnetic excursion but also a completely polar shift.

But, even polar shifts don't happen all at once and take over 1000 or 2000 or more years to complete the transition. More isn't likely being said about this worldwide because they don't want to cause people to panic. It is easier just to say Global Warming is caused by too many people which also might be partly or fully true too. However, if we are looking for a cyclical cause of all the changes one likely one is a "Geomagnetic Excursion". I think people need to be researching more about this especially because we had to switch to GPS satellites for navigation and because both a geomagnetic excursion or a complete reversal of the north and south poles magnetically would alter how everything electrical works on earth or cause it to stop working until it was redesigned. Since we are now dependent on everything electrical we now use a sudden stoppage of everything electrical could be catastrophic for human life on earth at some point in the future.
