If you like westerns and Johnny Depp you will love this movie. It is a comedic version of "The Lone Ranger" so if you are really into the original concept in a serious way you might be offended by this movie. But, if you liked "Little Big Man" with Dustin Hoffman and other Johnny Depp movies and his brand of cynical but extremely sophisticated humor I think you will like this one.
Like "The Heat" this is one of the funniest movies of this year even though just like "The Heat" it has a serious side too. So, as you are laughing you are also thinking about all the implications of everything as people die one by one throughout the movie. So, it isn't just a little kids move, it is actually a very adult movie to just like "The Heat". But The Lone Ranger is very scenic and spectacular and over the top in a variety of ways that will blow your mind and tickle your funnybone. Thumbs up on this one and also "The Heat" for blasting your cares away and bringing the summer on for real just like you felt when you were a kid off on summer vacations.
