One of the most important things to learn if you are an intuitive is compassionate detachment. In other words you tend to feel everything so deeply that unless you get over being attached to outcomes at some point you are going to self destruct.
So, I have found people are wonderful but mostly they are going to disappoint your if you let them. So, don't let them disappoint you by understanding just how fragile physically and psychologically all humans actually are. I sort of see souls in human bodies similar to flowers which are beautiful when in full bloom but soon they wither away. Seeing life as impermanent allows you to detach from it while still loving the flowers in the springtime when they are here.
Do you worry about flowers fading and dying?
You have to get to the same point with all human bodies including your own or else you are going to lose your mind in the process.
Acceptance of life in a human body on earth as being impermanent while being compassionate to your soul and all other souls in incarnation, coming into incarnation or leaving incarnation is the best place to be. It isn't really birth, life and death it is a cycle of life that never ends. When one is an intuitive one sees this. Death and birth become much less horrific for everyone involved and life is only part of the cycle. By seeing life as a cycle and not an end in itself one can attain compassionate pragmatism which allows a person to most efficiently help oneself and others.
If you get caught in freaking out about impermanence then your life becomes wasted. Accept your body is impermanent and you might even become a human immortal (relatively speaking) and live 100, 200, 300, 500 or 1000 years or more because of attitude and medical technology. But, if you are too attached to this outcome you might die right now! So, by developing Compassionate detachment as you watch friends go crazy and die or relatives, you pray for them and help them into a better world any way you can so you can live with yourself as long as you will live here on earth.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
