The cry of the 1960s by the Baby Boomers was "Let's change the world!" Well. We did. And it shows that were weren't quite as grown up as we all thought we were. But we did accomplish a lot.
But, one of the lessons many of us learned is you cannot really change the world unless you change yourself first.
It is sort of like, "You can bring a horse to water but you cannot make him drink."
The same is with people. So, the only way you really can change the world is by changing yourself and being a positive example if anyone wants to follow your positive example.
Otherwise, nothing is going to change at all.
So, by taking responsibility internally for your own problems rather than blaming the whole world for your problems (once you are a grownup) is how you start.
The buck stops here. Once you stop blaming others and start finding out solutions to both your problems and the world's problems you can actually create a lot of change starting with yourself first.
One of the many interesting people these days is Elon Musk who has sort of taken the place of Stephen Jobs in some ways on the world stage in regard to innovating the world into it's own survival.
So, the more you can help people survive the end of oil (within 20 to 30 years) here on earth, the less people will die fighting for oil in about 30 years when it's all gone.
But, water may become the new oil because of hydrogen fuel cells.
However, in addition to this if you have compassion for yourself or develop compassion for yourself you also will start to develop compassion for others. This is a very good thing to do for everyone on earth who wishes to.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
