The Problem with the way Cheney and Paul are discussing the middle east

My problem with the whole way they are discussing it is that they are overlooking the main problem in all of this: Overpopulation when there isn't enough tillable land to support feeding the people that are there.

Imagine if you are a Californian Sending several million people to live in the area around Palm

Springs, California. Now, don't give them water or electricity, don't give them food or good shelter. Now see after 100 years or more of this people don't start to hate the U.S. simply because we have food and they don't. We have electricity and they don't. We have jobs and they don't. We can afford to marry and have children and they can't.

This is the whole problem in the Middle East in a nutshell. If you don't have food, can't get a job, can't afford to marry and have kids you might just say, "The Hell with this" and strap on a bomb and become a suicide terrorist.

I don't understand why our government isn't looking at the problem. Starving people without jobs become terrorists who are funded by drug dealing and human trafficking and prostitution. This is what has always funded terrorists, that's nothing new.

More attention should be given to why they are becoming terrorists rather than just trying to find out how to kill them because they are a threat to us here in the Western World.

Logic: If you don't eliminate the cause of ANY problem the problem is just going to get worse and worse and worse.

This is what we are seeing every single day now in the middle east.

I think this is Putin's plan. He just wants Shias and Sunnis to all kill each other, shut off oil from the middle east, and make billions in oil at higher prices by selling Russian oil to the world. This is Putin's plan.

And if mideast oil is cut off to the rest of the world Russian and U.S. and Venezuelan, and Mexican and every other oil nations oil companies are going to make a fortune selling oil at really really high prices if this sectarian war gets any worse than it now is.

However, this also would send the whole world into a Great Depression and likely cause a series of proxy wars reminiscent of World War II.

And without using Nukes, we can't stop him. That's the problem.

So, Putin's present stance in Syria and Ukraine will lead eventually to a Great Depression because Gasoline and Diesel will be priced so high from all the unrest and unavailable fuel from the middle east that economies that don't have access to their own oil likely are going to collapse one by one, because the price of oil will be too high to afford to ship food very far. And the price of gas and diesel will be too expensive to till the land and make a profit selling food that people can afford to buy.

This will cause people to grow organic "Victory Gardens" in their back yard like my 25 year old daughter and I are doing  right now in raised beds.
