Ukraine, Syria, Iraq, Israel, Lebanon, Egypt, Yemen, Libya etc.
Then we add to this the economic tragedy of Greece and various other problem in the world.
These areas are each spinning out of control on the world scene.
We look at these places and think they are far away.
But, the world is not as big a place as it once was.
People in all parts of the world now have relatives here in the U.S.
So, little Ukraines, Syrias, Iraqs, Israels, Lebanons, Eyypts, Libyas and Greece's are here in communities across the U.S. too.
So, we can no longer say things like: "Oh. It's happening over there it does not affect us here."
This many crises in the world does affect us here in the U.S. to a greater degree every day now.
One reason these crises are problematic is that they are all spinning out of control.
The world might manage one or two or three of them and create better outcomes.
But, it is like a fire spreading throughout the world. If the fire departments are overwhelmed the fire keeps spreading like it is now throughout the middle east and touches the world beyond through higher oil prices and anger of all kinds. What is happening now will financially harm most people directly or indirectly very soon and could be worse than anyone presently can imagine right now.
In the same way that World War II was unimaginable to people in the 1930s for the most part too. But then came many countries overrun by the Nazis and the Battle of Britain in 1939.
So, this might be just the beginning of something much worse than we have seen yet because it appears the fire is still spreading throughout the middle east and Ukraine and right now, no one seems to be able to put it out. Not even the U.S.
I tend to think that overpopulation and Global Climate change has over matched human civilization's capacity to deal with all the changes at once anymore. So, likely we might see up to 50% of the world's governments become dysfunctional sort of like Somalia, Iraq and Syria, and Yemen are right now over the next 20 to 50 years.
And blaming the U.S., Russia, the EU or any one group for it now is kind of stupid.
I think realizing Global climate change and overpopulation are the two primary causes and trying to blame individual countries or even leaders for this is very ignorant if you really think about it at all.
It's more like the weather or an Act of God. There really is no one to blame for any of this but ourselves and our ancestors.
But, most people might not want to do that.
Because that would just be too painful.
So, likely we will see counterproductive shaming and blaming instead and a whole lot of people likely are going to die because of this "living in denial". And then more and more people will die until people get more realistic. If they don't get realistic at some point then we will be extinct as a human species here on earth.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
