Many people buying stocks today

Why are they doing this here in the U.S.?

Mostly because they realize most people are panic selling and they want in on many of these American Stocks. So, if you notice the drop in the U.S. Stock market isn't as great as many others because our business climate is basically sound, and all the damage really is in China at this point. So, experienced traders and people more knowledgeable about the market are buying or repositioning for both security and advantage long term. So, if and when the market returns here in the U.S. to more normal they will have made a lot of money in repositioning themselves now. However, you have to be very savvy to do this successfully so it isn't for everyone.
