If you get a chance watch PBS American Experience "Walt Disney Biography Parts 1 and 2. I watched part 1 last night and felt myself transported to my childhood in the 1950s watching Walt Disney's wonderful world of Color on TV and Going to Disneyland for the first time when I was 7 in 1955. He was in his own time something like George Lucas, Amazon.com and Google of his own time. He made friends with his artists and was the cutting edge of art in the civilized world when he made "Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs" and then Fantasia. Mickey Mouse changed the whole world in the 1920s. "Snow White" Changed the whole world in the mid 1930s. Snow White had a similar effect to "Star Wars" in 1977 in regard to artistic technology development.
