4 days without any water or food (96hours)

Intuition is often a refinement of instinct

In some ways this is a continuation of the above article I just wrote.

Intuition and instinct keep us alive and healthy mentally, emotionally and physically. If you believe in God that might help too but many people don't around the world so they have other ways to maintain center and helpfulness and compassion and civilization in their lives.

Though Native Americans who sometimes are not Christian as well still believe in God it is a different form of God than we might think.

For example, the Plains Indians often believe in Wakon Tonka which means "The Great moving spirit of the Wind" which they often might refer to as "Grandfather".

I think seeing God as like Grandfather is very helpful because often the way people look at God is as a very ancient one like a Grandparent. So, when we become Grandparents like I am now (I have a Grandson by my son), I can understand better why people think Grandfather or Grandmother as God simply because of the ancient nature of Grandparents and God and that they have both survived everything often for 50 or 100 years already.

The 4 days of no water or food I did when I was 35 years of age in 1983 on the South Fork of the Trinity River 5 miles from the nearest human being, 2 miles from the nearest road and at the very least 1 or more miles from the nearest human trail. I reached this point by Walking upriver from a place known by locals as Eagle Cliffs and only a couple of miles away from River Spirit which is a commune up river from there on the Trinity River that also has no road access.

However, my connection was not to River Spirit but to a Medicine man and his family that lived at what they called Eagle Cliffs for the Eagles that often visited there and built their nests in the cliffs.

So, I walked upriver to a Bear Wallow which I chose as my Vision Quest Spot. Every day, A Bald Eagle and his Mate flew over this spot and a Wood duck and her babies went down river during the day to feed and upriver to hide in Bull Rushes from all the night critters like Raccoons to survive the nights.

After 2 days of no water or food I became the second night there a Great Golden Dragon and I breathed out fire on everyone (in my vision experience).(If you don't eat or drink anything and then are out in the dark praying you are going to see some amazing stuff after a couple of days). So, if you do this be ready for almost anything that will guide you in your life from your subconscious mind.

Because that is what you are doing there. You are praying for Guiding Visions 24 hours a day for 4 days. And when they arrive they are almost always earthshaking, amazing and at times terrifying. So, if you do this be ready for whatever comes.

Also, make sure you are young enough and your healthy (both mental and physical) will allow you to survive mentally and physically something like this.

The first two days for me were very difficult. My mind kept screaming at me, "You are going to die! You need water! You need food. I'm bored. There is nothing to do!"

However, by the end of the second night of this I was a Great Golden Dragon breathing the fire of enlightenment upon thousands of people and it made them smile in enlightenment and joy.

So, after this vision quest I moved in Earnest towards meeting Tibetan Lamas and Going to India, Nepal and almost into Tibet (But, when I heard about the busload of people frozen to death on the way to Lhasa at over 20,000 feet in the pass there over to Tibet I gave the idea up because I didn't want this to happen to my wife and children. So, I gave up Tibet because you were not allowed to fly there from Nepal then in 1985 and 1986.

So, the vision led me to become a Tibetan Buddhist in addition to a Mystical Christian and amazingly enough this confirmation of what I should be doing came from a Native American Vision Quest.

So, if you want to know what to do with your life, a Native American Vision quest might help in knowing your most useful path to help the most beings long term in your life.

By the Grace of God
