Donald Trump's already high unfavorable ratings have reached a staggering new peak, according to a poll released Wednesday.
About 70% of Americans have an unfavorable opinion of the presumptive GOP nominee, the latest ABC News/Washington Post showed, signaling that the brash billionaire's last few weeks of railing against a federal judge and repeated calls for his ban on Muslims have worsened his position among voters.
The mark is a new high for the mogul since he announced his candidacy last June and represents a 10-point spike in his unlikeability levels since the group released its last poll in May.
In the last four weeks, Trump has suggested that a Mexican-American federal judge from Indiana wouldn't be able to fairly preside over a case against Trump University, and responded to the worst mass shooting in American history by thanking supporters for their "congrats" on his decision to use phrase "radical Islamic terrorism."
Presumptive Democratic nominee Hillary Clinton didn't fare much better in the poll, however, notching a 55% unfavorable rating of her own — the highest negatives she's had in any ABC News poll since she emerged as a national figure in 1992.
Trump also had devastatingly high negatives among African-Americans (94% unfavorable) and Latinos (89% unfavorable).
Clinton, on the other hand, faced her stiffest hurdles among men (63% unfavorable rating), whites (68% unfavorable rating) and white men (75% unfavorable).
