Imagine Earth turned into an asteroid belt like the one in the solar system already that likely was once a planet destroyed by a nuclear war.
This I presently believe would be what Earth would be now without Birth Control and abortion.
What caused this present situation?
Strangely enough, nuclear weapons mainly caused this present situation.
Because without them wars like World War II would still be going on here on earth because countries could still do this and because of that world population would be likely less than half of what it is now.
But, specifically because of nuclear weapons our world population is about 3 to 4 times what it was during world war II. This could not have happened without nuclear weapons.
So, without birth control methods (especially the birth control pill which became legal in the U.S. in 1960 when I was 12, likely we would now be at 15 to 20 billion people or more by now and likely the planet would have already been nuked out of existence by some terrorist that got a hold of a nuclear weapon or weapons already.
So, basically we should be very grateful for all methods of birth control including Abortion for the present existence of Earth itself.
Because without birth control at the level it presently is Earth likely would not exist and would be an asteroid belt in space between Venus and Mars right now already.
