The difference in Yemen is that instead of ISIS being the culprit and before that Assad in Syria, in Yemen Iran is the culprit (from one point of view).
From Saudi Arabia's point of view it is Iran who is the culprit for sending arms to Houthi Rebels. So, from Saudi ARabia's point of view anyway they can crush the Houthi Shia rebels is a good one. Because to the Saudis Houthi Shias must be completely wiped out or contained in Yemen or their Sunni Government in Saudi Arabia will eventually collapse or could collapse from Houthi Terrorists funded by Iran in Saudi Arabia.
From Iran's point of view they are just aiding their Shia Brothers in Yemen but if they also destroy Saudi Arabia (their biggest cultural enemy in the Middle East) that would be okay to with Iran.
So, in the meantime the UN is upset at thousands of starving children in Yemen that are being blocked from ANY food by Saudi Arabian soldiers in order to starve out of existence all Houthi Shias. This is causing a real shit storm now at the UN because of just how bad this has gotten.
So, at this point Yemen is as big a problem as ISIS and Syria and Iraq and Libya are already for the UN and for the whole world at this point. However, you are just less likely to hear about this in the news for a variety of reasons (especially in the western world).
