If I understand what was being said in the last article, the news states that Al Qaeda has been slowly and stealthily embedding itself into Assad's opposition forces. So, when the ISIS Army and the Islamic State is defeated by the western powers primarily, Al Qaeda can take up the slack once again.
If you read the previous article see if you come up with the same thoughts I had?
However, realistically, ISIS is still the richest Terrorist organization on earth and I don't think (as a terrorist organization) they are going away any time soon. But, as an Army they likely will be finished this year or next. And likely the Islamic State will be gone in that time frame too.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
