the 84 people killed.

Nicolas Leslie, 20, had been reported missing since last week

Nicolas Leslie, 20 years old, was one of 85 participants in a summer entrepreneurship program in Nice, many who attended a fireworks show celebrating France’s Bastille Day when a truck driven by a 31-year-old Tunisian plowed through the crowd. Mr. Leslie, from Del Mar, Calif., was reported missing until Sunday, when French officials notified the Federal Bureau of Investigation he was among the dead.
An additional 200 people were injured in the attack, including three other UC Berkeley students. University staff, local officials and Mr. Leslie’s family had conducted an intensive search for him.
“This is tragic, devastating news,” said UC Berkeley Chancellor Nicholas Dirks.
Two other Americans killed in the Nice attacks were 51-year-old Sean Copeland and his 11-year-old son, Brodie, of Lakeway, Texas.
