As crazy as this sounds what actually just happened is about 10 times worse than Brexit for Europe and the European Union.
To put this in a realistic manner, the Islamic State just moved from Raqqa and Mosul to Ankara and Istambul.
The last hope of the Turkish People to keep their secular state was for this Coup to succeed. However, I think it was planned by Erdogan to take away all power from the military to keep Turkey from remaining secular and so he could turn Turkey it into another Islamic State in some ways very similar to ISIS' Islamic State in Raqqa and Mosul. So, what we are actually witnessing is the beginning of the NEW Sunni Caliphate in Turkey like it was during ancient historical times.
That Turkey is a member of Nato is horrific because of this.
Turkey is moving away from Europe to something unthinkable in the 21st century for the secular Christian world to deal with.
The sooner people realize this and Europe and NATO Separate from Turkey now the better!
Russia completely understands this much better than we do. This is why they almost went to war with Turkey because Turkey shot down their plane!
Turkey just showed it's true colors in this and Erdogan is against the Western World. Now it is obvious and the western world has been duped all along we now see.
This is a horror for all of Europe, England and for the U.S. and the rest of the western world.
