Turkey's Secular Democracy is gone

Turkey is Toast. This is the best way to put this (at least as far as democracy is concerned). Everything you see now will be Erdogan's Dictatorship Sham. The Military coup done by Erdogan allowed him to consolodate power.

Will this allow Turkey to survive against the onslaught of Iran and Russia? I don't know.

When People are scared enough this is what they do worldwide. And in this case Erdogan just became Turkey's Hitler ongoing. He's moving right now to becoming another Saddam Hussein only in Turkey. He is imprisoning his people by the thousands (all secular democracy leaders) or he is killing them secretly. Gulen didn't do anything. This is why the U.S. won't let him be extridicted to Turkey.  Just Imagine Hitler or Saddam Hussein taking over a country in this case (Turkey). It's all you really need to know.

Why aren't the EU and the U.S. and Canada reporting more about the loss of Turkey?

There are many reasons. The first one is that it is very embarrassing to lose someone in NATO and a potential EU member to a dictatorship. However, to some degree we also have a dictatorship in Egypt only that one is run by the Military so I guess you could call that one a secular democracy based dictatorship.

The one now in Turkey is a Sunni Islamic State which is paradoxical because the type of government forming there now is a lot like ISIS created in Syria and Iraq. So, I would now call the new Turkish Government- ISIS Lite.

This is also embarrassing for the western world governments regarding Turkey. So, this is why Europe, the U.S. and other western nations aren't talking about what is happening there much.

Also, this is a matter of sovereignty so that is what is going on too.

However, to be accurate, the world just lost the biggest democracy in the Middle East which is horrific in regard to the future. So, expect Hitlerian or similar to Saddam Hussein in Turkey along with a war with IRan and possibly Russia too coming soon for Turkey.

The problem for NATO will be if they ask for help from NATO fighting Iran and Russia and Syria and maybe Iraq too.
