A 63-year-old man was found dead of head trauma injuries Tuesday morning at the Russian Consulate on New York City's Upper East Side, according to police and local media reports.
Police said the unidentified male was found unconscious shortly before 7 a.m. and was pronounced dead at the scene by an EMS team. The medical examiner will conduct an autopsy to determine the cause of death, NBC New York reports.
The Daily News reports that the man allegedly fell to his death. The newspaper quotes an unidentified official who answered the phone in the consulate as confirming police were on the scene investigating, but declined further comment.
