Or maybe "Carry Water Chop Wood" might be a better life to go back to?
A friend of mine is 66 years old and grows organically 70% of the food he eats on his 2 1/2 acres of land for himself and his girlfriend. He has no medicines he has to take at this age at all unless you consider sublingual B-12's a medicine.
This is the opposite of "Your kitchen thinking for itself".
And who do you think is going to live longer, people who microwave their food and never go out and buy organic foods and never grow their own foods or people who live remotely on land where the water and air is pure enough to breathe and drink without reducing your lifespan dramatically?
So, as lifespans dramatically decrease in the U.S. this might be something to think about.
My friend and I still ski together every year and go to Hawaii to go snorkeling and travel the world and the U.S.
Being healthy enough to still do this at 66 or 70 (I'm almost 70 now) is wonderful. But, if you aren't healthy enough to do this in retirement what then?
