An Impeachment inquiry is different than beginning an impeachment of a president.
An impeachment inquiry is only an investigation to find out if we need to impeach the president.
Though I understand why Pelosi doesn't want to "jump the gun" in all this because timing is everything. Still I think that sooner or later an impeachment inquiry is going to be necessary for Congress to fulfill their Constitutional duty of "Oversight". There may not be an actual impeachment simply because the Republican Senate might not vote to impeach the president. However, if an impeachment inquiry doesn't happen then our government simply is proving once again it isn't working and has become completely dysfunctional. The checks and balances of the 3 branches of government are necessary to keep our democracy working properly for all the people and not just some of the people. Trump is NOT above the law and it's true he would have already been arrested had he not been in the office of the president.
To the best of my ability I write about my experience of the Universe Past, Present and Future
