Often religions want to be your intercessor but this is very dangerous because often people cannot be trusted. They might even wish you could trust them but often people are lying to themselves like Priests and ministers who molest children and young women.
Even if someone is sincere they still can be self deluded because they don't understand themselves enough. Most of the world seems to live in denial because of childhood traumas. So, self deception isn't that unusual here on earth, unfortunately.
Because of this and other reasons, it is very important to establish your own personal relationship with God beyond any priests or pastors or ministers. Otherwise, it is almost guaranteed you will be victimized, if not sexually then psychologically in some way.
So, having clarity with yourself and God where NO ONE comes in between you and your personal relationship with God is paramount to EVER becoming fully enlightened as a being here on Earth.
