Temperature changes on the ground will change rain patterns too in Canada and elsewhere over time
So, everything affects everything else. Also, with temperatures this winter from 10 to 40 degrees above normal in Alaska, this also affects and interacts with all these changes too. The northernmost and southernmost parts of the world are the ones the most drastically affected by Global Climate change. This is one of the reasons that both the north pole regions now and eventually the south pole regions are going to be melting out periodically. The North Pole now often melts out in the late summer or fall or even in the winter now and it seems logical that more melting will occur at the south pole in January or February when it is summer there at the South pole too.
