Met an old friend from Mt. Shasta

We met a friend we had not seen since 1984 who then moved to Kauai I guess. My friend and his girlfriend had found him and he had married and had had 3 children since we last saw him in Mt. Shasta in 1984. He had sold his land on Mt. Shasta and eventually bought a house in the islands. So, it was pretty amazing to visit someone who was a friend so long ago living in Mt. Shasta who had met his wife and had 3 children since we al saw him last. He was very steeped now into Hawaiian culture and the traditional ways of Hawaii now and one of his now grown children goes to a university on the mainland in Nevada I believe now as well.
