Likely as not your soul was created before this Galaxy was created simply because the natural state of a soul is NOT in time and space in the first place. A soul DOES NOT have to breathe air or drink water or eat food (at least not the air and water and food of earth). Though it likely needs some form of energy to continue in some form. But, trying to understand that while you are a human being might be difficult.
Even if you are now 100 years old your soul likely is billions of years old and maybe even older than this galaxy which beings like your soul built so they could create more souls. So, galaxies are like farms our souls have created to feed on energy better as it moves from matter to anti-matter and back again and through various different types of energy and wave patterns.
Sometimes I think that Stars are one of the kinds of forms that our souls wear in the physical in addition to human bodies. Some of us also might wear planets a body too.
But, one thing is for sure, all our souls are immortal and even if we live to be 100 years old our souls have already lived billions of years and likely will live billions more years into the future (even though they don't naturally live in the matter universe or in time and space (even though they can while wearing a human body here on earth for a while ( a lifetime).
