If it is a decent College or University it will teach the students to formulate good and important questions about their lives.
What happens to people who are unable to ask and formulate good questions about their lives and others?
Often they are dead before they are 30 to 35 years of age for multiple reasons.
So, the ability to formulate useful questions to the problems they face is a matter of personal survival for everyone here on earth.
Also, having gone to college I know that I am useful to others because I really learned how to formulate useful questions for my survival and my family as well as others.
So, each of us capable of actually formulating useful questions is important for the survival of our families and the whole human race this century and beyond.

PS Once you formulate a useful question put it out online so others can find solutions to those questions.
After all, there are now 8 billion of us to come up with the answers that will save the human race from extinction.
