1 in 10 workers at a food processing plant out sick: A Grocery Chain in Southeast had 1/3 of it's workers fall ill

 In Arizona, one in 10 processing plant and distribution workers at a major produce company were recently out sick. In Massachusetts, employee illnesses have slowed the flow of fish to supermarkets and restaurants. A grocery chain in the U.S. Southeast had to hire temporary workers after roughly one-third of employees at its distribution centers fell ill.

Though all this likely has peaked in places like New York State, the rest of the country mostly has not peaked yet. Although I heard today that San Francisco the city (not the suburbs) has had cases starting to reduce. However, I think the more remote your area is away from the biggest cities like San Francisco, Los Angeles or San Diego or Sacramento, the longer you will see Omicron happen where you are. For example, where I live the city to our right just quadrupled the amount of children in public schools getting omicron. and the city to our left, just tripled the amount of children in public schools getting Omicron. Both this week for the first time. IF children are getting omicron this much in this area then so are the parents, the aunts, the uncles, the grandparents and the friends as well.

Also, we know more people who have gotten Omicron than any other variant since this started a couple of years ago now.
