It's important to realize that the changes the world is going through are at least as extreme as during World War II. However, everything ( if you haven't died or lost someone near to you) seems relatively okay on some levels (but it isn't okay).
So, the problem is being realistic about what is really going on in your life and in the lives around you. Making sense of everything becomes more difficult during these times when so many are sick and some are dying worldwide.
So, accepting that literally everything has changed is confusing for most people because they might not seem changed in a way that people can relate to.
So, some people are going to stay home and become deluded by reading things online that upset them that likely are not true and are just musings of people who have some sort of PTSD caused by everything from battles they fought in the military to medical PTSD to divorce to deaths they have had to endure.
When people are dealing with PTSD (from Any Cause) they are not going to be reasonable because their "Bullshit meter" isn't working properly.
Could it be said that people with PTSD are the main people dying of Covid during the past 2 years?
This is possible.
But, there are also many other people with PTSD who will survive Covid okay and still be having problems making sense of any reality at all too.
And these are likely the people who could get violent (not just in the U.S.) but also all over the world during these times which might collapse some government (even ours) if we are not aware what is actually going on in time to stop the death of our democracy.
One of the ways I submit to you that people aren't clearly thinking about:
At 820,000 people dead we now have lost about twice as many Americans as we lost U.S. Soldiers in World War II.
So, you can see that basically twice as many Americans have died now from Covid as died in all of World War II who were soldiers. This is proof of just how bad a situation we are presently in not only here in the U.S. but also worldwide.
