I finally came to this opinion today realizing that no mandate like this (except the draft) that killed so many innocent 18 years old (many my age born between 1948 to 1950) during the Viet Nam War and Korean War and even during World WAr II. I think the draft was justified during World war II but not during the Korean War or the Viet Nam war. People my age were dying that had no idea really which end was up then at age 18 and so often they would be drafted and would die within 2 weeks of being sent into Viet Nam just scared kids that knew nothing. So, it wasn't surprising at all to me why "Fragging" happened a lot to 90 day lieutenant wonders. IF soldiers didn't trust their young and new lieutenants they rolled hand grenades under their bunks at night before they got their platoons and companies all killed doing something stupid.
However, like I said I believe the Draft was justified during World War II just not during the Korean War or the Viet Nam War. By Afghanistan and Iraq the draft was long gone. So this was a good thing that the draft ended so so many young boys without a clue didn't die within 2 weeks of being sent to a war.
So, now I have come to see National Covid mandates of being like the draft was here in the U.S. until the late 1970s. So, I realize even though it would be convenient to force everyone in schools and businesses to become vaccinated, the precedent it sets is just too much like the draft that killed 50,000 boys my age in the Viet Nam war.
And what else will future presidents who might not be so Democratic in nature and be potential dictators in the future. What other rights or freedoms will disappear including the right not to be vaccinated?
