Iis presently 56 degrees but out on my rear deck sheltered from the winds off the ocean it feels like about 70 degrees here sitting in the sun. I can even be barefoot because the sun is warming up my deckgood.
I treated the hot tub on another section of the deck that is in the shade but the deck was too cold for my bare feet so I just stuck my feet in the hot tub while I treated it with Bromine since I keep it maintaining at least 98 degrees 24 hours a day while the kids are visiting so they can get in any time night or day. And then they can raise the temperature to whatever they want from there. I prefer 98 or 99 degrees myself even in winter. I have found over the years that you need at least 96 degrees to not get cold in any temperature that you might get here where I live so I just keep it now at 98 degrees which is great. When you first get in it really soothes all your muscles and is wonderful too. I try to walk our dog on the ocean or into the redwoods and pines and oaks on trails here where i live every day I can.
So, for now at least the weather is sunny and in the mid 50s at least until the next rain storm next Friday
By the way 5 degrees Fahrenheit in Tahoe this morning.
